# The Latest French Films, From Trans Stories to a Travelogue With a Donkey

[Rendez-Vous with French Cinema](https://virtual.filmlinc.org/page/rendez-vous-with-french-cinema/?ref=hyperallergic.com) is [Film at Lincoln Center's](https://www.filmlinc.org/?ref=hyperallergic.com) annual program of recent French movie releases, featuring popular and arthouse fare alike. This year's 26th edition — happening virtually, of course — includes titles like [*Little Girl*](https://virtual.filmlinc.org/film/little-girl/?ref=hyperallergic.com), about a young trans girl's fight for recognition from her school; [*Spring Blossom*](https://virtual.filmlinc.org/film/spring-blossom/?ref=hyperallergic.com)*,* in which 20-year-old director Suzanne Lindon plays a high-schooler whose flights of fancy spill over into reality; and [*My Donkey, My Lover, and I*](https://virtual.filmlinc.org/film/my-donkey-my-lover-and-i/?ref=hyperallergic.com)*,* about a woman who rents a donkey for a trip in the same mountains her married boyfriend is touring with his family (an incredibly French premise)

Talks are available to view for free. Tickets to stream individual films cost $12 (except *Little Girl*, which is $17). FLC members get a 20% discount on virtual cinema rentals.
