Also this week, a [bomb shell](http://www.nytimes.com/2011/12/03/arts/design/federal-inquiry-into-possible-forging-of-modernist-art.html?ref=hyperallergic.com) about some possible Modernist forgeries hit the headlines. Related? We’re not 100% sure yet: > The Knoedler gallery … has not been implicated in the investigation. But on Friday a London collector, Pierre Lagrange, who bought one of the works, “Untitled 1950” by Pollock, for $17 million in 2007, sued the gallery and Ms. Freedman, contending that it is a forgery.
