7\. Miami is a thriving gateway between the cultures of the United States, the Caribbean, Latin America, and Europe. Beneath the city’s glossy commercial fairs and galleries, Miami is home to a thriving ecosystem of artists’ organizations.

6\. Convening panels and breakouts will address themes of gentrification, organizational transitions, collective action, race and gender equity, and critical production. Practical workshops include legal advice, equity training, and more.

5\. The Convening will take place at Little Haiti Cultural Center, a venue that celebrates the rich history of Afro-Caribbean culture and is a burgeoning center for small independent businesses of all kinds.

4\. The four-day convening only costs $150, or $125 for Common Field members. Tickets includes breakfast and lunch on Friday and Saturday. Opening ceremony will feature performance by Dream Defenders, and keynote by Edouard Duval-Carrié.
