So, if you want a “genuine Shepard Fairey/OBEY mural” for free — but only in Manhattan or Brooklyn — join the “OBEY phenomenon” and help contribute to the “enhancement of the urban landscape.”

It almost makes it sound like a social program.

We wish him luck and we hope he finds some good spaces, including at least one in Williamsburg.

The last fresh Faireys I spotted in New York were last November in [Chelsea](http://www.flickr.com/photos/hragvartanian/4096363017/?ref=hyperallergic.com) and [Williamsburg](http://www.flickr.com/photos/hragvartanian/4079098280/?ref=hyperallergic.com). I think he was in town to decorate a Levi’s store or something.
