Art shows often demand that everything be framed and able to be hung on a wall, automatically rejecting anything in the way of fabric or needle arts, basketry, woodworking, ceramics, stone carving, and glasswork. They also reject interactive art or four dimensional works. Sculptures that move, make sound or manipulate light and shadow are rejected outright and close minds.
