# Washington University’s MFA in Visual Art Is Made for Renegades

**About the MFA-VA Program**

Our community instills students with the agency and resiliency essential for this generation of artists.

**Facilities & Location**

Students have access to numerous specialized [spaces for making](https://samfoxschool.wustl.edu/places/facilities?ref=hyperallergic.com), including a [3D digital fabrication lab](https://samfoxschool.wustl.edu/places/facilities/6-caleres-fabrication-studio?ref=hyperallergic.com), a textile studio, an expansive [printmaking suite](https://samfoxschool.wustl.edu/places/facilities/5-dubinsky-printmaking-studio?ref=hyperallergic.com) — home to [Island Press](https://islandpress.samfoxschool.wustl.edu/?ref=hyperallergic.com) and the [Kranzberg Book Studio](https://samfoxschool.wustl.edu/places/facilities/15-nancy-spirtas-kranzberg-studio-for-the-illustrated-book?ref=hyperallergic.com) — and more.
