Leaked [private text messages between members of the **Sackler family**](https://hyperallergic.com/museums-were-key-to-sackler-pr-strategy-family-group-chats-reveal/), the owners of Purdue Pharma, showed how they tried to use their museum philanthropy as a way to artwash their roles in the opioid crisis.
