The day after Donald Trump made his remarks about Hillary Clinton and the Second Amendment, the New York Daily News [called](http://www.nydailynews.com/opinion/trump-hinting-assassination-article-1.2744789?utm%5Fcontent=buffer9e24b&utm%5Fmedium=social&utm%5Fsource=twitter.com&utm%5Fcampaign=NYDailyNewsTw) on him to withdraw from the presidential race, and if he does not, “the Republican Party, including vice presidential nominee Mike Pence, must instead abandon Trump for toying with political bloodshed.”
