Bruce Museum – Artist-in-Residency Program
One artist will work on-site at the museum in Greenwich, Connecticut, for at least 20 hours per week from November 1 through July 31, 2024. They will receive a $35,000 stipend to generate new work, up to $8,000 in materials reimbursement, a $500 honorarium to present one lecture, and more.

Harry Ransom Center – 2024–2025 Fellowships

La Maison de Beaumont – Artist Residency & Retreat Program
This multidisciplinary residency at an 18th-century village house in the South of France (Provence’s Luberon region), offers an idyllic space for artists to focus on creative work. The application fee is €45 and private housing options range between €575 and €1,150 per two-week period.
Black Mountain Institute – Shearing Fellowship
Emerging and distinguished writers who have published at least one book with a trade or literary press are eligible for this nine-month fellowship, which comes with $40,000, office space at BMI in Las Vegas, and more.

Green Box – 2024 Artist in Residence Program
Create new work while living in the Colorado mountains. Open to all artists at any stage in their career, the Green Box Artist in Residence Program provides artists with a $9,000 stipend and lodging.

Metropolitan Museum of Art – The Met Fellowship Program
Each year, The Met awards over 50 yearlong fellowships to scholars from around the world whose projects require close study of objects in the museum’s collection. Funding ranges from $47,000 to $65,000, with additional travel stipends available.

Women’s Studio Workshop Residencies
Located in the Hudson Valley, WSW offers a variety of funded residencies for women and trans, intersex, nonbinary, and genderfluid artists. The organization maintains facilities for etching, letterpress, papermaking, book arts, silkscreen, 3D work, ceramics, and photography.

apexart – 2024–25 NYC Open Call
Five 500-word proposals for NYC-based group exhibitions will be selected to receive budgets of $10,000. Curators, artists, writers, and others are encouraged to apply.

Artists based in the Southeastern US can apply for their chance at over $100,000 in prize money at the annual ArtFields competition and festival in Lake City, South Carolina, which transforms the town into a living gallery each spring. The application fee is $25.

National Portrait Gallery – 2025 Outwin Boochever Portrait Competition

SFER IK Museion, located in Tulum and Uh May, Mexico, is accepting applications for a new award for artists to create a work using artificial intelligence. The winning artist will receive $100,000 to develop their AI-integrated artwork.

California Humanities – California Documentary Project Grants
These grants support documentary film, audio, and digital media productions that use the humanities to explore California and tell its stories. Funding is available in three categories and ranges from $10,000 to $50,000.

NYC Women’s Fund for Media, Music and Theatre

PEN America – Robert J. Dau Short Story Prize for Emerging Writers
This annual award recognizes 12 emerging writers for their debut short story published in a literary magazine, journal, or cultural website. Each writer receives $2,000 and publication by Catapult in an anthology.

Sony Future Filmmaker Awards
