Alexandra Sommer is an art historian living in Munich, Germany. She studied Art History, Culture Science, Aesthetic and Philosophy of Culture at the University of Vienna (Austria), Art History at the University College Dublin (Ireland), and History of Modern and Present Art at the Ruhr-University Bochum (Germany). She has worked in curatorial departments and on exhibitions at the Getty Research Institute in Los Angeles, Museum of Modern Art in New York, and Hamburger Kunsthalle in Hamburg, among others, and on research projects at the Ruhr-University Bochum.
