Christopher Atamian lives in New York City, where he works as a writer, translator, and filmmaker. He is the former dance critic for The New York Press, and contributes to leading publications including the New York Times, Dance Magazine, SCENE, and The Huffington Post where he blogs about the arts, culture, and current events. He is proud of his maternal Swiss-Italian heritage and studied at the ETH Zürich in 1989 on a Fulbright Fellowship.
