Claudia La Rocco
Claudia La Rocco writes about performance for the New York Times and is the founder of the Performance Club, which won a 2011 Arts Writers Grant. She is on the faculty of the School of Visual Arts’ graduate program in Art Criticism and Writing, and teaches at a variety of universities, festivals and institutes. She is a member of the Off The Park poetry press, where she is editing an anthology of poems by painters. Her writing has appeared in such outlets and publications as Artforum, failbetter.com, Slate, WNYC New York Public Radio, the anthology "Viva la Difference: Poetry Inspired by the Painting of Peter Saul" and the Brooklyn Rail, where she previously edited the Dance Section.
