For curator Jay Jordan, who had been planning to return to his homeland of Canada for some time, the recent Art Chicago fairs helped help him make it happen and in the process reminded him about the power of art.
Jay Jordan is an independent curator and writer. He was guest curator for Seeing is Becoming, currently on view at the Indianapolis Museum of Contemporary Art. Until recently he lived and worked in Louisville, KY where he was Curator and later became Director of the New Center for Contemporary Art. He is currently in the process of relocating to Canada, his home and native land. He has been fairly reticent about his plans, but if you are curious you can follow along on Twitter and see how it all turns out.
