The former curator at Public Art Fund, New York, is joining the Savannah College of Art and Design’s teaching museum on its 10th anniversary.
In honor of its milestone anniversary, the Savannah, Georgia-based museum welcomes renowned international artists for a diverse program of exhibitions and events.
Díaz will work closely with students, faculty, and staff to develop programming that enhances public knowledge, understanding, and appreciation of Black art and culture.
At the Savannah College of Art and Design, visitors are welcome to experience the award-winning museum’s roster of five new fall exhibitions and extended shows from spring and summer.
The museum opens the group exhibition exploring the life and legacy of the preeminent visionary and abolitionist.
SCAD commemorates the centennial of the artist’s birth with a landmark group exhibition, on view through February 4, 2018.
