Following the wildly acclaimed installations by FAILE and JR, New York City Ballet collaborates for the 2015 Art Series with Dustin Yellin, the Brooklyn-based artist and founder of Red Hook’s Pioneer Works Center for Art and Innovation.
Yellin will exhibit 15 works created as part of an ongoing project, Psychogeographies, that when finished will consist of 100 large-scale glass and mixed-media sculptures, each weighing more than 3,000 pounds.
His work will be on view at three special New York City Ballet Art Series performances at Lincoln Center on February 12, 19, and 27, where all tickets are priced at $29 and each audience member will receive a limited edition commemorative takeaway from the artist.
