The David Prize celebrates five New Yorkers who uniquely contribute to the fabric of the city — whether environmentally, culturally, socially, or otherwise. Winners may come from fields as diverse as the arts and creative expression, workforce and economic development, civic engagement, environment and sustainability, immigrant rights, food and nutrition, homelessness, and/or youth development and receive $200,000 to further their work, no strings attached.
Candidates must be able to prove that funding and visibility could change the trajectory of their work and life, not to mention their block, borough, and maybe even our city. Individuals that win The David Prize can be affiliated with organizations or companies, but the focus is on great people doing great things. Nominate New York’s future today.
