Amy Whitaker is the author of Art Thinking: How to Carve Out Creative Space in a World of Schedules, Budgets, and Bosses (Harper Business, July 2016), a book about how creativity and commerce go together. Holding both an MBA and an MFA in painting, Amy teaches business to artists and art to businesspeople. In September 2016, she will become an assistant professor of Visual Arts Administration in NYU's Steinhardt School.
