Ilana Herzig is a writer and photographer from California and now based in Brooklyn. Her work explores spaces and narratives in which arts, international cultures, the natural world, and/or scientific innovation intersect. She received her undergraduate degree in Cultural Anthropology and International Studies from Northwestern University and her masters in journalism from Columbia University. Her writing has also appeared in Artsy and Psychology Today.
