ST. LOUIS — Watching the Kelley Walker exhibition at the Contemporary Art Museum in St. Louis unravel in the span of a few weeks, from what the museum promoted as its most ambitious installation to date — taking over the entire museum for the fall season — to becoming a disgraced footnote in contemporary exhibition making, it’s clear that what we have witnessed is a failure of the idea of the institution.

In his artistic practice, he works as a part of the collaborative US English. He is a 2015 recipient of the Creative Capital | The Andy Warhol Foundation Arts Writers Grant for Short-Form Writing.
