Exhibiting your work for the first time is a pivotal step in your art career. Emerging artists regularly receive this opportunity as students at the National Academy School.
As the culmination of their studies in the Academy’s Studio Art Intensive, artists exhibit their work in a group or solo show. This exhibition is a fundamental experience for these artists who are preparing to enter the international art market.
The school’s connection to the National Academy Museum is also a unique advantage. Companion exhibitions, such as the current school show Reflections on the Classical, continue the curatorial dialogue sparked in the museum. A select group of students even exhibit work directly in the museum during the Academy’s annual pop-up exhibition Creative Mischief.
The National Academy School offers a unique forum to move your work beyond the studio and onto the gallery walls. Find out more at www.nationalacademy.org.
