Initiated in 2013, the LA Art Book Fair (LAABF) is a celebration and international gathering for artists’ book publishers to distribute their work, connect with broad audiences, and nurture new and longstanding relationships. From May 15 to 18, LAABF 2025 will take place in a new venue: ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena! With classrooms, exhibition space, archives, letterpress, and typographic studios, the new setting will provide opportunities for the fair to highlight the pedagogical and discursive possibilities of the art book format through special projects and site-specific collaborations.

Join us on Thursday, May 15, from 6 to 9pm for the Opening Night celebration, with music, festivities, a ticket edition by artist Mario Ayala, and a first chance to explore the fair.

LAABF features over 300 international and local artists' book publishers, with a range of programming that includes lectures, performances, and hands-on workshops.
