These are among the brilliant international curators, museum directors, artists, art dealers, and theorists who have taught and lectured within the last year as part of SVA’s MA Curatorial Practice program. Based in New York’s Chelsea neighborhood, SVA has created partnerships with the Swiss Institute, Independent Curators International, White Columns, No Longer Empty, Residency Unlimited, artinfo.com, and other institutions, leading directly to exhibitions and publications that its students can add to their professional CVs.
Internships this year are with MoMA, MoMA PS1, the Walker Arts Center, SALT in Istanbul, NTU Centre for Contemporary Art in Singapore, and many other leading museums and art centers around the world. SVA’s gallery hosts exhibitions, panel discussions, performances, and other events that have already brought hundreds of audience members to its innovative space designed by renowned architect Charles Renfro of Diller Scofidio + Renfro, in association with Leong Leong.
