Amanda Schmitt, the former Artforum employee who claims she endured years of sexual harassment from once publisher Knight Landesman, will be able to take the publication to court once again.
Amanda Schmitt’s lawyer calls the dismissal of her case earlier this year a misapplication of the law, pleading under New York City Human Rights Law.
Earlier this month, a New York State Supreme Court judge dismissed Amanda Schmitt’s lawsuit against Knight Landesman, co-owner and former publisher of Artforum magazine.
Amanda Schmitt, a former Artforum employee, accused Landesman of sexual misconduct occurring during and after her career at the magazine. Her claims were backed by eight other women.
