Office Space for Rent at Hyperallergic HQ in Williamsburg
We have the best office in the world and we want to share it with you. Over a year ago, we moved into this giant space from our previous office — which was 20% the size of this — with the intention of hosting numerous events and renting out desks. We haven’t hosted as many events as we thought we would — since blogging, editing, organizing and the business side of things consumes most of our time — but our summer renter has left and it’s time to talk about renting out those desks.
2nd Edition of Mail Art Zine Now On Sale!
The handmade second edition zine for the Presents: Three Months of Mail Art for Hyperallergic HQ exhibition is now available. For the second edition, the co-curators have swapped roles and Kate Wadkins designed the covers and insert, while Hrag Vartanian has created the inside pages.
Visit Us this Weekend During the Northside Festival
Our office is open all weekend (12–6p) for the Presents: Three Months of Mail Art for Hyperallergic HQ exhibition, which is part of L Magazine‘s massive Northside Festival in Greenpoint and Williamsburg.

Calling All Mail Artists, Exhibition on the Way
Seven weeks ago, Hyperallergic began collecting Mail Art for our Mail Art Bulletin. Now, we are super excited to announce a new leg of our Mail Art project!
In tandem with Northside Open Studios, Hyperallergic will be curating a Mail Artshow from June 16-19.
Open 24 Hours: Julie Torres Transforms Hyperallergic HQ into a One-Day Exhibition
Over the 24 hours of May 1, 2011, artist Julie Torres transformed our Williamsburg office into a project called “Open 24 Hours,” with a plan to paint 100 distinct paintings in that limited period of time. Julie’s first 12 hours was all painting, finishing one 9 by 12 inch work on paper, putting it up on our wall and moving on to the next. The second 12 hours were a gallery show, with friends, writers and fellow painters stopping by to check out Julie’s work. The video above presents a three-minute long time lapse photography document of the full day.
