LOS ANGELES — QR codes are almost certainly New Aesthetic. Right? Right? After my first post on a QR Code stencil, I was surprised to receive a number of pitches for other QR code-related art. If it’s not a zeitgeist, it’s certainly a trend.
LOS ANGELES — QR codes are on the rise. I’ve spotted them everywhere, from subway ads (yes, we have subway ads in Los Angeles) to billboards to movie posters to business cards. And so they’ve inevitably cropped up in art.
LOS ANGELES — I see them everywhere these days. QR Codes have become a staple the world over, in large advertisements and small handouts in multiple countries. They don’t always make sense, but it’s impossible to deny their ubiquity.
