Under the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust’s management and vision, the Dollar Bank Three Rivers Arts Festival (TRAF) has achieved a reputation as the nation’s premier free arts festival — a must-experience celebration of music, performance, and visual art in one of America’s most vibrant cities. Each of its multi-disciplinary performing and visual arts attractions is free to attend and open to the public. The Festival takes place at the confluence of Pittsburgh’s famed three rivers in Point State Park, throughout picturesque Gateway Center, and in the city’s world-renowned Cultural District.
In addition to a full spectrum of music, dance, and literary art, this year’s visual arts highlights include:
- 12 temporary and long-term public art installations
- 12+ juried or curated indoor and outdoor exhibitions
- 300 independent artists from across the country in an open-air Artist Market
- A daily Art On Film series featuring local or native artists
