The Art Students League of New York Offers New Classes, Continues Tradition of Supporting Artists

Artists who have studied and taught at the Art Students League have set the course of American art for more than 140 years. This fall, 20 new League classes range from a series of anatomy lectures to lively “Art Workouts” exploring perception and imagination. New 12-week sequential courses complement our traditional month-by-month atelier classes.

The League’s 100 affordable studio art classes are led by prominent artist-instructors. Classes in drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, welding and assemblage provide a hands-on education accessible to anyone who truly aspires to develop as an artist — whether you are seeking to pursue a profession in the fine arts or just beginning your artistic journey.

Most classes work from the live model. Monthly registration and convenient scheduling offer freedom to personalize your education. Most classes range in price from $100/month to $265/month.

We also fully support the professional development of emerging artists with opportunities to exhibit, sell, and teach. Plus:
