Three suspects — 35-year-old man, a 34-year-old man, and a 36-year-old woman — were arrested on suspicion of conspiring to burgle Maurizio Cattelan’s solid gold toilet from Blenheim Palace, BBC reports.
The commode, which is valued around $6 million, was taken from the palace on September 15 and has yet to be recovered. Fine Art Specie Adjusters, the palace’s insurance company, says they may offer up to £100,000 (~$129,000) for its return.
So far, five have been arrested for alleged involvement in the world’s oddest bling ring. Initially, a 66-year-old man was arrested and released on bail, and later a 36-year-old man was released under investigation.
