A Reading of Asian American Literature on Home
In conjunction with One: Do Ho Suh, a group of Asian American writers come together to discuss belonging, identity, and heritage at the Brooklyn Museum.

Learn about the multiple meanings and experiences of home this Thursday night at the Brooklyn Museum. For their Winter Salon: Writers on Home, in conjunction with the special exhibition One: Do Ho Suh and presented in partnership with Feminist Press, the Museum will host a curator tour, followed by a series of readings on “belonging, identity, and heritage beyond the model-minority myth.”
The tour begins at 6:30pm, at which point Eugenie Tsai, the John and Barbara Vogelstein Senior Curator of Contemporary Art, will take visitors on an immersive, behind-the-scenes walkthrough of the exhibition. Then, at 7pm in the American Art galleries, Jason Koo, T Kira Madden, and Alice Sola Kim will read from Go Home!, an anthology of fiction, memoir, and poetry by Asian American writers. The event will end with a conversation among the writers, moderated by editor Rowan Hisayo Buchanan.
Tickets to the event are $16 and include Museum admission. They can be purchased here.
