We’re looking for a few good writers, bloggers, photographers and interns. If you think you fit the bill than fill out our online application by 5pm on Thursday, September 15.
What are we looking for? Serious people with a sense of humor who have strong but informed opinions about visual art, culture and the world around us.
You don’t have to have a great amount of experience but you need to provide factually correct copy and be able to prepare images and cite sources. A profile and knowledge of social media helps and so does some knowledge of Hyperallergic and what we do on a daily basis.
Hyperallergic prides itself at being the only online daily visual art publication that pays all its contributors (even interns who publish posts on the blogazine get paid) … it’s not a lot but it’s better than working for free, no?
Hyperallergic is eager to help you develop your online voice in a widely read online art publication that has been cited in a wide array of media publications, including the New York Times, Al Jazeera, the LA times, the Guardian, Boing Boing, Gawker, Andrew Sullivan, Gothamist, Kottke and a whole bunch of other outlets, hell we’ve even been cited by Fox News (yes, we’re not proud of that last one but what were we going to do, ask them to take it down?).
We have one of the most popular art tumblelogs and an active presence on Facebook and Twitter, so what you have to say will be heard, we can assure you.
Now, do your thing and APPLY NOW or help us spread the word.
