If you couldn’t make it to the May 9th After Hours event featuring performer Nomi Ruiz then do not fear, we have a video that will give you a taste of what you may have missed. While the original venue was shut down hours before showtime by the authorities for issues unrelated to the concert, thanks to the quick thinking of organizers Alanna Heiss of the Clocktower Gallery and Sherry Dobbin, director of public art at Times Square Alliance, the event was moved across the street to the renowned BB King Blues Club. The crowd gathered at the fabled music venue to hear Ruiz perform, framed by her vivid set and laser light show. Enjoy the video.
