Picasso's Electrician Claims to Own Hundreds of Works

France's Libération newspaper is reporting that the former electrician of Pablo Picasso claims to have hundreds of works by the modern master from his most important periods (1900-1931). France’s Libération newspaper is reporting that the former electrician of Pablo Picasso, Pierre Le Guennec, claims to have hundreds of works by the modern master from his most important periods (1900-1931). See a slideshow of works here.

And the BBC reports:

According to French newspaper Libération, the lost Picassos include a watercolour from his Blue Period. Experts say the nine cubist works in Mr Le Guennec’s possession are worth 40m euros alone.

And the artists’s son, Claude Picasso, is dismissing Mr Le Guennec’s explanation about how he came into possession of the art works.
