Political Christmas Cards From Hong Kong's Protestors and Their Supporters
After cartoonist and designer Jason Li wrote about Hong Kongers's radical Christmas cards, hundreds responded to Hyperallergic on social media with their own versions.

Earlier this week, Hyperallergic published an article by Jason Li, a Hong Kong-based cartoonist and designer who wrote about how protesters in Hong Kong are subverting the holiday season with Christmas cards that convey their political message of freedom and democracy.
In a long Twitter thread responding to Li’s article, hundreds of readers from Hong Kong have shared their favorite radical, creative Chrismas card ideas under the #freehkxmascard hashtag.
The cards, rife with protest memes and slogans, were too impressive not to share. See a selection of our favorites here below.
We hope we will win in the battle for democracy & justice…
And we hope our brothers & sisters in detention/prison can celebrate with us next year for a truly joyous & worry-free Christmas.
We’ll remain hopeful & fight on! pic.twitter.com/sVRTbHIyyQ
